Ateker International Film Festival
The Ateker International Film Festival is a flagship initiative that focuses on the celebration of culture, storytelling, and social change through film. Held annually in Turkana, Kenya, the festival showcases powerful stories from the Ateker community and beyond, bringing together filmmakers from refugee and host communities.
Documentary
This project aims to strengthen the capacity of local filmmakers and challenge the misconception that Turkana lacks skilled creative professionals. It focuses on elevating authentic, locally-driven stories while building confidence and recognition for practitioners within the region.
Workshops and Trainings
